Welcome to Penner’s Playbook
I’m Colten Penner – 25, trying to make sense of the world one thought at a time. Born in Wichita, KS, now living in Atlanta, GA, I write about the stuff that’s on my mind – mainly finance, investing, and business trends that shape the world we live in.
Penner’s Playbook started because I kept asking myself, “Am I the only one thinking about this, and how I can make money off it?” Whether it’s what the Fed’s doing, where to put my money, or how to navigate my career, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there had to be a smarter way to play the game. I figured I wasn’t alone, so I built a space to think out loud. I love hearing from like-minded people my age who are asking the same questions and looking for the same edge. If that sounds like you, welcome to the Playbook.
Most of what you’ll find here will focus on markets, strategy, and making smart financial decisions. But every now and then, I’ll dive into other things that come up in life. Opportunities, challenges, ideas that hit me in the middle of a workout or a long drive. If it’s relevant and real, it’s fair game.
This isn’t about pretending to have it all figured out. It’s about making sense of the chaos, finding an edge, and growing along the way. If that sounds like something you’re into, welcome.
